PORTLAND, Ore.—May 19, 2016— The Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® Masters Circle held its 12th annual silent auction on May 19th at the Multnomah Athletic Club.
Twenty-nine baskets were auctioned off, and a grand total of $5,200 was raised for Northwest Children’s Outreach.
Each year, the Masters Circle selects a charitable organization in the Portland metro area to support through their Silent Auction. In addition to recognizing the achievements of top Realtors®, the Masters Circle is committed to holding real estate agents to a high standard of professionalism and community service involvement. It is in this spirit that the Masters Circle gives back to the community in which their members work each year through its Silent Auction.
Northwest Children’s Outreach (NCO) is an all-volunteer non-profit that serves impoverished children ages zero to 18. NCO provides basic resources like clothing, diapers and hygiene items to care providers that work directly with the families in need.
NCO has six physical locations for the collection and distribution of these items. They invite the community to bring donations and volunteers to serve children in need.
“I’m honored that Northwest Children’s Outreach was selected as the beneficiary of this year’s Masters Circle Auction. The funds raised will have a life-changing impact on hundreds of disadvantaged children across the Portland metro area,” says Northwest Children’s Outreach Executive Director Candace Leslie.
