PORTLAND, Ore.—May 19, 2016— The Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® (PMAR) Masters Circle named Lynae Forbes, The Hasson Company, Realtors®, their 2016 Managing Broker of the Year at their May 19th membership event.
The Managing Broker of the Year award selection criteria includes the number of years in the real estate industry, National Association recognized designations, community service, the number of years as a managing broker and the percentage of their brokers that are members of the Masters Circle.
Lynae’s commitment to the real estate industry is demonstrated through her extensive involvement in local and state Realtor® associations. Lynae’s volunteer service includes:
- Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® Brokerage Risk Management Committee Member
- Oregon Association of Realtors® Business Issues Committee Member
- 2012 Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® Brokerage Risk Management Committee Chairman
- 2011 Director at Large on the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® Board of Directors
Outside of the real estate industry, Lynae leads The Hasson Company, Realtors®’s role in the Lake Oswego Relay for Life, North Clackamas Relay for Life, Dozer Days, Pole Pedal Paddle, Rumble on the River and the annual Hasson Dress for Success clothing drive.
Recently, Lynae spearheaded a partnership between The Hasson Company, Realtors® and Hands on Greater Portland, where brokers and employees volunteered with Store to Door to help buy groceries for seniors and individuals that are house-bound.
In addition to event leadership, Lynae was an active volunteer with the Oregon Food Bank from 2006 to 2009.
